• To learn the students pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, drug interactions, contraindications and clinical uses.
• To learn the students the toxic, teratogenic and carcinogenic effects of the various substances on the human body and its antidotes and antitoxins.
• To learn the students the basic sciences (anatomy, functions and pathophysiology of the major organs and systems).
•  To learn the students drug and dose individualization, patient counseling and to practice the science of clinical pharmacy.
•  To carry out scientific research on drugs and medicinal plants at the level of the B.Sc.  students as well as the post graduate studies for master and doctorate degrees by research.
