Al- Neelain University faculty of pharmacy was established in the year 2005 as school of pharmacy attached to the faculty of medicine and health sciences. By the end of 2006 the school has got the accreditation of the ministry of higher education after satisfaction of the criteria and requirements of pharmacy education. Five years curriculum is adopted including theoretical and practical study of modern pharmacy education. The faculty has highly energetic and passionate teaching staff including professors, associate and assistant professors, lecturers, teaching assistants and technicians at the different disciplines of pharmacy. The faculty has a good reputation among other institutions as well as good employability of the alumni. The faculty offers numerous academic and research opportunities to prospective students both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The basic degree of graduation is the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences (B. Pharm Honor) leading to Master of Science (MSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
