Objectives
Objectives:
The objectives of this program are to provide the student with knowledge in the following areas:
1. Scientific and mathematical information.
2. Ophthalmic dispensing instruments.
3. Plastic and glass technology.
4. Designing and manufacturing of spectacle lenses, frames, contact lenses and low vision aids.
5. Computer skills, which are needed for advanced ophthalmic dispensing technology.
6. Communications skills for effective human relations.
