The Computer and Information Center at Al-Neelain University was established in February 1998 to achieve several goals, the most important of which are:
1- Upgrading the level of university employees and other facilities so that they can keep pace with modern technology and its practical applications
2- Seeking to spread technical awareness to a broader base and with a deeper understanding.
3- Qualifying those wishing to continue their education in the fields of computer use in scientific research and development.
The programs offered by the center consist of the following:
First: Intermediate Diploma Program in Computer Science, with a duration of two years, a four-semester system. Currently, the program has been converted to a technical diploma, and its duration is three years, divided into six semesters.
Second: The program of minor courses and continuing studies, and the duration of each course is three months.
- It includes the following:
• Computer basics course.
• Programming course.
• Advanced programming course.
• Maintenance cycle.
• Networking course.
