Prof. Marcus Rattray, Head of Bradford School of Pharmacy visited Al-Neelain University on September 20, 2016 for three days in a visit to discuss collaboration fields in terms of curriculum development and staff exchanges between the two institutions. Prof. Marcus Rattray also visited Amipharma Laboratories, which specializes in the manufacture and sale of pharmaceutical products; during this visit he praised the quality of equipments available for practical training for the University Faculty of Pharmacy students within the factory.
Al-Neelain University Vice-Chancellor Professor Muhammad El-Amin Ahmed stated that the visit of Prof. Marcus Rattray came within the University trend to open to the educational institutes across the world to building collaborative relationships.
Professor Tariq Abbas El Bakhit, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Al-Neelain Universiy also met with Prof. Marcus Rattray and shed a light on the Universiy potential and its position among Sudanese universities and referred to the large number of students studying at the University which indicates its good reputation.
The Head of Bradford School of Pharmacy also met with the Secretariat of Scientific Affairs Prof. Hassan Bashir, and Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy Dr.Intissar Abdel Rahim Bashir who indicated that a cooperation agreement has been signed between the University Faculty of Pharmacy and Bradford University School of Pharmacy in a number of fields including a joint scientific research, which enables Al-Neelain University students at both Bachelor and Graduate Studies to take advantage of the capabilities available for scientific research at the University of Bradford.
Prof. Marcus Rattray, Head of Bradford School of Pharmacy expressed his pleasure to visit Al-Neelain University. He also stressed the readiness of Bradford University to open broad prospects of cooperation with Al-Neelain Universiy in the future.
