2006:  Ph. D. Geology (Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System “GIS”), Faculty of    Science and Technology, Al Neelain University, Sudan in collaboration with Earth and Planetary Remote Sensing Institute, FU BERLIN (Free University of Berlin), Germany.

 August 2001 - May 2004:     Ph. D. researcher in Remote Sensing and GIS at Free University Berlin- Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Dr.  F. K. List. Scholarship funded by DAAD organization.

1998:  M. Sc.  In Geology, Post Graduate College, University of Khartoum.

1988:  B.Sc. Geology and Chemistry, Faculty of Science - Al Mansoura University, Egypt.

Teaching Experience

1993 -1996:     Part-time Research Assistant in National Remote Sensing Authority of the Sudan (National remote Sensing Center “NRSC”, Khartoum – Sudan.

1993 -1999:     Part-time Teaching Assistant in Geology Department, Faculty of Science, University of Khartoum.

1998-1999:      Part-time Lecturer in School of Applied Earth Science – Faculty of Science and Technology, Al Neelain University.

1999 –2006:      Lecturer in School of Applied Earth Science (Staff member), Faculty of Science and Technology, Al Neelain University.

2006-now:        Assistant Professor of Remote Sensing and GIS, Faculty of Science and Technology, Al Neelain University.
