Vice-Chancellor inaugurates Al-Neelain University Centre in South Sudan


During his visit to Juba, Capital of South Sudan, where he met with Prof. Peter Adwok Nyaba, Prof. Muhammad El-Amin Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor of Al-Neelain University, announced the inauguration of a permanent Center of Al-Neelain University in Juba, referring that the Center will be developed soon into a branch of the University to offer all academic disciplines.

Prof. Muhammad El-Amin Ahmed praised the distinguished relationships between the two Ministries of Higher Education in Sudan and South Sudan. NU Vice-Chancellor also stated that the Center will address the problems of students who have not finished their studies in Sudan.

For his part, Prof. Peter Adwok Nyaba, Minister of Higher Education in South Sudan, welcomed the representatives of Al-Neelain ‎University, referring to the depth of relationships between Sudan and South Sudan. He, also, praised the experience of Al-Neelain ‎University in terms of establishing offshore centers such as the University branches of Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Somalia. Furthermore, Minister of Higher Education in South Sudan announced his sponsorship of this Center as an expression of his appreciation of Al-Neelain ‎University ‎ contributions to the development of higher education in South Sudan.
